Odds to Win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year
The NFL Draft sees some incredible players join new teams every year. And of course, with the new players coming in, there are opportunities to take their team to new heights.
Let’s take a look at the odds to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. The race is going to be an absolute blast.
TOP #3 Sports Betting Sites to Bet on NFL
1. Trevor Lawrence (+260)
The new Jaguars QB is going to be starting from NFL week 1 and is expected to eventually take the team to new heights. It will be a slow climb to the top for a Jaguars team that has retooled a lot in the last few years.
Lawrence had an incredible career at Clemson and is looking to take things over right off the bat. It’ll be interesting to see just how effective he is, but he has the makings of a franchise QB.
That being said, he’ll make all the receivers around him better.
2. Justin Fields (+550)
Second, in the odds department is Justin Fields. His future in the league is bright, but he will not be out there in NFL week 1. Matt Nagy is opting to start veteran Andy Dalton instead, so we are going to have to wait a few weeks.
As he showed in preseason, Fields can be mobile. He can escape the pocket and find lanes to run for the first down, and He can also sling the ball effectively.
Once he gets his first crack at a start, he will never be coming off the bench again. So, the naysayers had best enjoy this time.
3. Trey Lance (+650)
Trey Lance, like Fields, will be a backup to open the year. Jimmy Garoppolo is going to begin as the starter for a team with a lot of talent. They have a number of big-play receivers, plus they will be healthy all over the place where injuries were a recurring theme last year.
Lance has a lot of ability, and it was no surprise he was drafted so high. At the end of the day, he is a franchise QB in waiting. Garoppolo took this team to the Super Bowl a few years ago. But injuries have been a consistent theme. Because he’s owed $28 million this year, he will start week 1.
But he should sleep with one eye closed. And then Lance will compete for OROY.
4. Zach Wilson (+750)
Zach Wilson was a stud at BYU. And he’s going to be the same for the Jets. He will be the NFL week 1 starter, and the QB room around him is lacking in experience. He is going to have to be his own mentor, which will come with its own set of challenges.
NY has not had a ‘great’ QB in a long time. They have shuffled through QB’s throughout the past decade, without anybody standing out among them. Wilson is the best one they have had in a long time, and it looks like they may have hit on this pick.
He will surely have a good chance at OROY. He will put up big numbers and make all his guys better.
Next On The List:
5. Najee Harris (+800)
6. Kyle Pitt (+1000)
7/8. Ja’Marr Chase/Mac Jones (+1200)
9/10. DeVonta Smith/Jalen Waddle (+1600)
