Las Vegas Raiders at Denver Broncos Betting Preview
It’s an AFC West matchup that pins the Las Vegas Raiders against the Denver Broncos. Each of these teams is on a rough two-game losing streak. As they prepare to face each other, drama surrounds the Raiders camp. Considering they’ll be without their head coach from here on out, how will they perform against Denver?
The Broncos aren’t much better off and could be evaluating the coaching staff soon. They started the year off 3-0 but have looked like a shell of their former self. Facing the Raiders offense requires a hard-nosed defense, something the Broncos haven’t shown in weeks. With positioning in the AFC West on the line, who’s the best bet at the sportsbook?

It’s time for the Raiders to focus up
They started the season as a dynamite offense, beating the Ravens, Steelers, and Dolphins. Since then, the Raiders have been one of the most lackluster teams to watch. For a moment, we thought that they’d emerge as the best team in the AFC West. Sadly for them, we were mistaken. At this point, they need to focus on the game instead of sideline distractions.
Interim Head Coach Rich Bisaccia has a lot of weight on his shoulders. The good news is he has a strong team to work with. A team that has a lot of weapons but needs to be pointed in the right direction. Bisaccia could prove that he’s the man for the job in the future with a win here. Or, he could end up proving that the Raiders will need to hunt for a new NFL head coach.
The Broncos are in the same boat as the Raiders
Both of these teams need a kickstart to get their season back on track. The Denver Broncos were garnering a lot of attention across the NFL and somehow lost steam. We aren’t sure if it’s solely coaching or if they’ve been simply outplayed, but something happened. Their offense has been stagnant and boring, while the defense has done what they can to be competitive.
Now they’ll face another team in need of a win to refocus. This game for the Broncos will come down to whether they want it more than the Raiders. If they don’t put all they’ve got into this one, the losing slump will continue. If they play at their best, there’s a chance they’ll claim the number two spot in the division.
Las Vegas Raiders at Denver Broncos Betting Lines
The Las Vegas Raiders come in as underdogs, which could be a shock to some. When the betting lines first opened at BetUS the Raiders were +2.5; the line has now jumped to +3.5. The MoneyLine on this game has the Raiders +165 per BetOnline and Bovada, which are great odds. The total is currently set at 44.5, which is low considering both teams’ offenses in the past.
Before we get into who to pick, let’s talk about their history. The Raiders have won six out of their last ten meetings with the Broncos. The last time the Broncos won was in December of 2019; the Broncos were home as well. The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Denver’s last six games when playing at home against Las Vegas per BetUS.
Free NFL Pick: Denver Broncos -3.5
If the Las Vegas Raiders were at home, we’d more than likely take them. However, being on the road in Denver is a tough place to play. This season the Broncos have only lost one game at home, and that was to the Ravens.
Along with that is this being Rich Bisaccia’s first game as Interim Head Coach. It’ll likely take him a game or so to really start getting a feel for playcalling. That being said, you’ve got to go with the home-field advantage here. Make no mistake; this will be a close game, though.
