LaMelo Ball performed admirably in their recent win over the Hawks. The young guard posted 22 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds which led to an extremely impressive plus-minus of plus-24 for the game.
Montrezl Harrell added 20 points and six rebounds off of the bench for Charlotte as well.
The Hornets played a clean game with only nine turnovers and 30 assists. They produced a field goal percentage of just under 50 percent, which led them to their 116 -106 victory.
Charlotte’s biggest question mark during the 2021-2022 campaign has been on defense. They are a pesky team that can cause turnovers, but they also allow far too many points. The Hornets will need to find a way to contain the Mavericks, especially Doncic if they want to upset the narrow spread and earn the home win.
