Tua Tagovailoa had to be removed towards the end of the first half after what looked like a potential concussion. However, he was able to return in the second half of play after the injury results did not lead to concussion protocol.
Tua finished the contest going 13-18 through the air. He added 186 passing yards to go along with a touchdown.
The Dolphins’ rushing game produced little in the way of productivity. But wide receiver Jaylen Waddle reeled in four receptions for a whopping 102 receiving yards. Waddle was the difference maker for Miami’s offensive attack.
Josh Allen threw 63 times and completed 42 of those passes, which led to 400 yards and two touchdowns. Despite the superhero effort, the Bills’ offense was stunted for most of the game.
The Dolphins now rank eighth in points per game, 13th in total yards per game, second in passing yards per game, and 31st in rushing yards per contest.
It goes without saying, but they need to find a way to balance their offense. The rushing game has been abysmal so far in 2022.
Defensively, Miami ranks 16th in points surrendered per game, 31st in total yards surrendered per game, 22nd in sacks, and 20th in interceptions. This defense is capable of making plays, but they have some holes.
The Dolphins will try to stay undefeated heading into this Week 4 matchup with the Bengals.
Betting on Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals finally earned a win over the weekend. They were able to take care of business against the Jets with a convincing 27-12 victory.
Joe Burrow went 23-36 through the air with 275 passing yards and three touchdowns. After struggling with interceptions to open the year, Burrow did not get picked off against New York.
Wide receivers Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins combined for nine catches and 198 receiving yards. It was truly a passing showcase for the Bengals.
The defense limited Joe Flacco to a 53.8 passer rating while picking him off twice. The Jets were able to rush at a decent rate, but the Bengals’ defense did its job for the most part.
The Bengals’ offense now ranks 10th in points per game, 16th in yards per game, 10th in passing yards per game, and 19th in rushing yards per game. The Cincinnati defense ranks 10th in points surrendered per contest, ninth in yards surrendered per game, 22nd in sacks, and 14th in interceptions.
Cincinnati may be on the verge of turning a corner and heating up. It will be interesting to see if Joe Burrow and Co. can keep it going against a red-hot Dolphins team.

In the end, this projects to be a highly competitive affair between two talented teams. Records aside, the Bengals and Dolphins have the capability of winning on Thursday night.
But I do like the Bengals at home in this one. Perhaps I’m just not on the Dolphins bandwagon yet, but something tells me Cincinnati is headed in the correct direction.
