NFL Win Totals for Top Teams
The NFL Season is getting ready to be in full swing, and we are getting into the final swing of betting on individual team win totals. It’s always important to look through each team to decide where the values are but looking at the top teams is important because they are seen as the best.
Let’s take a deeper dive into each of the top-four teams in terms of wins for the 2021 NFL Season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, and Baltimore Ravens.
TOP #3 Sports Betting Sites to Bet on NFL
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS 12.5 WINS
The Kansas City Chiefs have the highest win total this season and would need to only lose four games to make the over hit. They went 14-2 last season after going 12-4 in Patrick Mahomes’ first two seasons as the starting quarterback.
They have seven games against teams who were playoff teams a season ago (vs Cleveland, @ Baltimore, vs Buffalo, @ Washington, @ Tennessee, vs Green Bay, vs Pittsburgh), and that makes their schedule brutal. I think this team takes a slight step back offensively and go 12-5 to win the AFC West still but go with UNDER 12.5 wins.
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS 11.5 WINS
Moving on with our betting picks, let’s talk about Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The reigning Super Bowl Champions brought back all 22 of their starters and have the second-highest win total here. Let’s call a spade a spade here; this team has the ability to run the table here and go 17-0. It’s not necessarily likely, but looking at their schedule, they have a cakewalk in the first six weeks to get going and end the season with the Panthers, the Jets, and the Panthers again.
There are a lot of winnable games here, and I learned to not bet against Tom Brady. With Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Antonio Brown on the field, it’s going to be difficult for teams to stop this offense. Go with OVER 11.5 wins here. According to BetUS, Buccaneers over 11.5 wins betting odds are at -155.
BUFFALO BILLS 11 WINS
The Buffalo Bills might be one of the toughest teams in the entire AFC, but they have a tough early schedule. Before their bye week during NFL Week 7, they have one of the most brutal schedules (vs Steelers, @ Dolphins, vs Washington, vs Houston, @ Kansas City, @ Tennessee).
The division got a little tougher, and the schedule is tough, and all major bookies offering NFL odds are well-aware of it. They seem to not run the ball effectively, so it will be interesting to see how they call plays to not be one-dimensional. I think this team wins 11 games but go with the UNDER as they need to lose just five games for the over to hit, and that seems unlikely.
BALTIMORE RAVENS 11 WINS
The Baltimore Ravens have a chance to take control of the AFC North Division as the Pittsburgh Steelers look to be in decline, Cleveland figuring out their baseline, and Cincinnati trying to get healthy and actually catch passes.
They need to win games early because the back-half of the schedule has the potential to be brutal as after their NFL Week 8 bye week they have vs Minnesota, @ Miami, @ Chicago, vs Cleveland, @ Pittsburgh, @ Cleveland, vs Green Bay, @ Cincinnati, vs LA Rams, vs Pittsburgh.
I think 11 wins is a fair spot, but I can see them with the top seed in the AFC this season. Go with OVER 11 wins despite the recent news that running back JK Dobbins will miss the entire season.
