The Los Angeles Rams are heavy favorites heading into this game. LA is still a very talented team that simply can turn into a dangerous Buffalo squad to open the season.
The Rams will have added motivation following their loss. They have no intention of starting out the season at 0-2 after two consecutive home matchups.

Betting on Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons are a tramp that floundered for the majority of last season. They would have loved to kick off the 2022 campaign with a victory. But they fell short by a single point.
Quarterback Marcus Mariota threw for 215 yards on 20-33 passing in the game. His performance wasn’t anything to write home about, but he did total no interceptions.
Cordarrelle Patterson ultimately stole the show for the Falcons. The running back rushed for 120 yards with a touchdown on 22 carries. Atlanta displayed no hesitancy whatsoever, handing him the ball and letting him get comfortable in the backfield.
Marcus Mariota also rushed 12 times and recorded 72 yards and a touchdown.
The Falcons’ defense was unable to limit the Saints on offense. Alvin Kamara was kept in check, but Jameis Winston performed well, which led to the Saints’ victory.
There is no question that Atlanta’s defensive unit is going to have to be better on Sunday. They can’t afford to let the Rams find their rhythm and explode, or the game will be over before it even starts.
Betting on Los Angeles Rams
The Rams were defeated at home by the Bills a week ago. Buffalo made their presence known with a 31-10 victory. It was clear that they were not intimidated by the reigning champions.
Matthew Stafford went 29-41 with one touchdown and 240 passing yards. However, Stafford also fired three interceptions. It was an uncharacteristically sloppy game for the Rams’ QB.
The Rams running game failed to produce much of anything. But wide receiver Cooper Kupp was a shining light in an otherwise forgettable performance. Kupp reeled in 13 receptions for 128 yards and a touchdown.
Kupp is in line for another jaw-dropping season in 2022.
The Rams’ defense picked off Josh Allen twice. But they also allowed him to tally just under 300 yards and touchdowns.
LA showed glimpses of being on the verge of stopping Buffalo. But the Bills’ offense continuously found ways to convert.
In the end, LA had no answer for the Bills. They will aim for better results against the Falcons on Sunday in Week 2.

Are the Rams locked in to win on Sunday? Maybe. However, covering the spread could prove to be challenging.
LA could easily turn this into a blowout. But the Falcons’ recent success of covering on the road combined with the Rams’ struggles as a favorite are fairly concerning.
