The Best Bets for Saturday
Saturday has a number of good games on the docket. But good games don’t always make for great games to bet on. Today, we are looking at the best bets in the sports world for Saturday.
Iowa vs Michigan
Betting Analysis for Iowa at Michigan NCAAF
The Iowa Hawkeyes (10-2) and Michigan Wolverines (11-1) battle at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday, December 4th. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 P.M. EST. The two teams are meeting in the Big 10 Championship Game.
Michigan is fresh off of an upset against division rival Ohio State. The Wolverines’ rushing attack was lethal against the Buckeyes, while the defense held up their end of the bargain. Ultimately, Michigan downed Ohio State by a final score of 42-27.
Iowa is also coming off a nice win against Nebraska. The Cornhuskers made it interesting, but the Hawkeyes eventually came away with a 28-21 victory.
These are two teams hungry for a win on Saturday.
Michigan now finds themselves right in the middle of the College Football Playoff rankings. But they cannot afford a loss if they want things to remain that way. The Wolverines spent most of their season on the outside looking in of the postseason picture, so it would be a major letdown to lose a second game this late in the season.
Quarterback Cade McNamara has enjoyed a solid year under center for the Wolverines. He has thrown for a respectable 2,301 yards to go along with 14 touchdowns compared to only three interceptions.
Running back Hassan Haskins has rushed for 1,232 yards and 18 touchdowns. His five-yard rushing average is impressive as well.
But Haskins posted a career game in one of the most clutch performances we have seen this year by a running back last time out. In the must-win victory, Haskins ran for 169 yards and five touchdowns. It was truly one of the best individual games we have witnessed in quite some time.
Haskins and the Wolverines will look to keep winning on Saturday night.
Iowa is having a very productive campaign. Despite losing two games, people tend to forget how talented this team is. An upset is not out of the cards on Saturday.
They are led by quarterback Spencer Petras who has totaled 1,532 yards through the year with nine touchdowns. However, the quarterback has tossed six interceptions.
Tyler Goodson has impressed out of the backfield with his 1,101 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Sam LaPorta has been a quality option at wide receiver with 486 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Iowa’s defense has limited opponents to under 21 points over their past two games. This is a unit worth keeping tabs on in this affair.
Iowa vs Michigan NCAAF Betting Trends
Michigan is 10-2 ATS in 2021. They are 5-1 ATS when favored to win by ten or more points.
Iowa is 7-5 ATS this season. They are also 2-0 SU when playing the role of underdog.
The Hawkeyes have gotten the better of the Wolverines over the past few years. Iowa is 5-7 against Michigan since the 2009 campaign. But Michigan did win their most recent matchup in 2019.
Iowa vs Michigan NCAAF Betting Odds
Betonline has Michigan listed as 11-point favorites for Saturday night.
BetUS also has the Wolverines projected to defeat the Hawkeyes by 11 points in this game.
How To Bet On: Iowa vs Michigan NCAAF – Betting lines
The main concern for Michigan is their ability to bounce back following last week. Can they maintain the competitive fire that led them to win over Ohio State?
The Buckeyes rivalry is always exciting, and Michigan finally got over the hump with a crucial win. But some people in the college football world are curious if that win might have taken some mental energy away from the team.
For that reason, Iowa is being spoken of as a dark horse upset candidate. Personally, I don’t buy it. I believe that last week’s victory over the Buckeyes was only the beginning for Michigan.
With their solid offensive attack and arguably the best defensive line in college football, expect the Michigan Wolverines to earn the victory on Saturday night.

Los Angeles Clippers at Sacramento Kings
Betting Analysis for Clippers at Kings
A couple of Western Conference foes are prepared to face one another on Saturday as the Los Angeles Clippers (12-11) head to Sacramento for a date with the Kings (9-14). Tip-off is scheduled for 7 P.M. PST at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA.
The Clippers snapped a three-game losing streak with a big win over the Lakers yesterday, while the Kings have not played since Wednesday, where they defeated the Clippers on the road.
The Clippers have been laboring despite the victory yesterday. Perhaps, the win against the Lakers can get the team headed in the right direction.
The Clippers did a good job of spreading the ball around on Friday. The Lakers had a plan to limit the effect of Paul George, who scored only 19 points for the game. But he was certainly picked up by his team.
Marcus Morris Sr. scored 21 points, while Luke Kennard added 19 off the bench, and Reggie Jackson dropped 16 points. Los Angeles will need to continue this balanced attack if they want to find success in 2021.
With Kawhi Leonard expected to miss the majority of the season, defenses will continue to target Paul George. Other players need to step up on the offensive end for this team.
The Kings are a young team with a lot of potential. Although they have had an overall underwhelming season, they have already defeated both the Clippers and Lakers. This team will be a spoiler all season long in the Western Conference.

The Kings are also 10-13 ATS this year. They are 6-8 ATS when favored to lose by 1-point.
Both teams have eerily similar records ATS in 2021.

Clippers at Kings NBA – Betting lines
The Clippers have underperformed over the past couple of weeks. Regardless, I am surprised not to see them as the favorite in this game. And while some sportsbooks do predict the Clippers to come out on top, Los Angeles is typically only listed as a 1-point favorite.
I believe the Clippers will win for two reasons. First off, whenever they defeat the Lakers, a spark of momentum is added to their motivation for upcoming games. Secondly, it is difficult to envision them dropping two consecutive games against this Kings team.
While the Kings are a pesky squad, expect the Clippers to earn the victory on Saturday night.
