The Jazz and Suns meet up for a Sunday NBA matchup.
The Best Bets for Sunday, February 27th
The Utah Jazz (37-22) travel to Phoenix to take on the Suns (49-11) on Sunday.
The Jazz are 7-1 over the course of their past eight games. Utah last played on Friday when they defeated the Mavericks by a final score of 114-109. They will attempt to do what few teams have been able to accomplish this year as they head into Phoenix searching for a victory.
The Suns are still an excellent team without question. But they are a bit more vulnerable with their floor general Chris Paul on the shelf with an injury. They were most recently defeated by the Pelicans at home 117-102.
Overall, these are two of the hottest teams in basketball over the course of the past few weeks, as Phoenix is 8-2 over their last ten games and Utah is 7-3 during that span.
Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 P.M. EST at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, AZ.

Betting Odds
The Jazz have played an excellent brand of basketball as of late. Utah labored for a stretch during the first half of the season, which saw them drop to fourth in the West. However, they are trending in the right direction once again and are putting pressure on the Grizzlies, Warriors, and the first place Suns.
Utah once again displayed a quality effort against Dallas in their last time on the court.
Donovan Mitchell led the scoring charge with 33 points. Mitchell added five assists and ended the game with a plus-minus of plus 14.
Rudy Gobert chipped in an impressive double-double with 14 points and 17 rebounds in the winning effort.
The Jazz had it going from the floor on Friday as they shot over 54 percent from the field and over 42 percent from beyond the arc. Gobert’s strong rebounding effort helped lead Utah to a 44-30 advantage on the boards as well.
Their shooting efficiency and dominance on the glass helped them overcome an ugly 18 turnovers.
The Jazz will try to upset the Suns on the road, which is obviously much easier said than done.
The Suns won their first game following the Chris Paul injury against the Thunder on Thursday. But his absence was felt on Friday in Phoenix’s loss against the Pelicans at home.
New Orleans was led by CJ McCollum, who posted 32 points in the win. Meanwhile, Devin Booker dropped 30 points of his own for the Suns. Deandre Ayton added 20 points and five rebounds in the defeat.
The Suns shot a somewhat respectable 43.9 percent from the field. One major difference between the two teams came in the rebounding department, as New Orleans grabbed an impressive 53 boards compared to Phoenix’s total of 37.
The Suns also lost the turnover battle, which may not have happened had CP3 been on the court.
But this is still a talented team that is more than capable of holding their own moving forward.
Best Betting Odds to Bet Online
The oddsmakers have this contest coming down the wire.
The Suns are a tremendous home team, but the Paul injury looms large against a mostly healthy Jazz squad.
Utah knows what it takes to win on the road as well. They have defeated some of the better teams in the league at their home arenas this season.
The one thing we know for sure is that the Suns and Jazz game will make for an extremely entertaining matchup.
How To Bet On: Utah Jazz at Phoenix Suns NBA Betting lines
I like Utah to upset the odds in this affair. Devin Booker is the Suns’ best player, but CP3 adds an element of leadership and is the true heart-and-sole on the roster. He knows how to help his team win games.
Booker will probably score 30 or more points, but Utah will produce a better team effort en route to a road victory.

NBA:
- Philadelphia 76ers -7
- New York Knicks +7
Pick: Philadelphia 76ers -7
James Harden has fit right in so far alongside Joel Embiid and the rest of the Sixers team. Go ahead and roll with Philly on the road in New York against the underwhelming Knicks.
- Los Angeles Clippers -7
- Houston Rockets +7
Pick: Los Angeles Clippers -7
Covering large spreads on the road is never an easy task regardless of the opponent. But the Clippers have shown the ability to get the job done against lackluster opponents so far during the 2021-2022 campaign, and that should continue in Houston on Sunday.
- Dallas Mavericks +4
- Golden State Warriors -4
Pick: Golden State Warriors -4
This is the second-best game on Sunday’s slate, as two of the best teams in the West prepare to square off at the Chase Center. At first glance, I thought about taking Dallas to cover. However, Golden State is dominant at home, and betting against them in San Francisco is never a good idea.
