The Suns and Bucks meet up in Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon.
The Best Bets for Saturday, March 6th
The Phoenix Suns (51-12) and Milwaukee Bucks (39-25) prepare to face off on Sunday afternoon in a Finals rematch.
Phoenix is still holding onto the best record in the NBA despite dealing with a number of injuries. The Suns have a roster that is built to overcome adversity, given the depth off the bench. They will look to continue to play well without Chris Paul and Devin Booker on Sunday.
Milwaukee has played well as of late and can take sole possession of the second place in the East standings with a victory. They are coming off of an impressive 118-112 win in Chicago against the Bulls.
Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 P.M. EST at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, WI.

NBA – Phoenix Suns at Milwaukee Bucks Betting Trends
- Phoenix is 34-29 ATS this season.
- The Suns are 28-22 ATS when playing after a victory.
- They are 18-10 ATS on the road.

- Milwaukee is 28-36 ATS this year.
- The Bucks are 15-23 ATS following a win.
- They are 12-22 ATS at their home arena.
- Milwaukee is 24-27 ATS as a favorite.
- The Bucks are 10-20 ATS as a home favorite.
- They have an over/under record of 32-32.
Phoenix is the best team in the league, and they have been incredible ATS for the most part. But they are not used to playing the role of underdog as they have only been in that position seven times this entire season! That is remarkable to think about.
The Suns defeated Milwaukee in Phoenix in their last head-to-head matchup with the Bucks. But they had their roster at full health for that contest.
Chris Paul is currently out for the foreseeable future, and it now looks as if Devin Booker will miss a second consecutive game. Phoenix also received more bad news when Cam Johnson was ruled out for Sunday as well with an injury.
It was Johnson who hit the game-winning shot at home against the Knicks on Friday. He finished with 38 points off of the bench to pace Phoenix in scoring as well, so his presence is going to be missed.
But we discussed earlier how the Suns have one of the deepest rosters in the NBA. Players such as Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder, Cameron Payne, and of course star center Deandre Ayton have the ability to lead this Suns team.
However, limiting a red hot Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. will not be easy on the road.
The Bucks return home from Chicago for this Sunday afternoon affair. Milwaukee is currently in the midst of a three-game winning streak after taking care of business against the short-handed Bulls.
Antetokounmpo performed admirably in the win with a game-high 34 points to go along with 16 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block for good measure. Antetokounmpo’s versatile skill set makes him one of the most difficult players to defend in the league.
Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday both added over 20 points as well. This trio is arguably the best Big Three in the NBA right now.
The main question in regards to Milwaukee’s roster for this upcoming matchup with Phoenix is who is going to stop Ayton in the post? Bobby Portis will likely be the answer to the question, but he is not known as a lockdown post defender. Giannis could also help on Ayton, but that would leave only three other defenders to try and cover four Suns perimeter shooting options.
The Bucks are listed as a fairly heavy favorite in this game, and for a good reason, as they are healthy, and the Suns are far from it. But if Phoenix is able to get the most out of Ayton, then there is a chance that they remain competitive in this contest.
Best Betting Odds to Bet Online
- BetUS: Milwaukee -9.5
- MyBookie: Milwaukee -9.5
- BetNow: Milwaukee -9
- Bovada: Milwaukee -9
- Betonline: Milwaukee -9.5
This is the largest spread Phoenix has faced as an underdog all season long. But the Bucks are just 10-20 ATS as a home favorite, and they have failed to cover in the majority of games this season. Meanwhile, the Suns are 4-2 ATS as away underdogs.
And yes, these are different circumstances, given their injuries. But People forget that Ayton is one of the game’s best big men, and his value should not be overlooked.
How To Bet On: Phoenix Suns at Milwaukee Bucks Betting lines
The Bucks should be able to get the job done and defeat this injury-riddled Phoenix team. But can they cover a 9-9.5 point spread at home?
I believe the Suns can remain within 10 points in this game. As long as their defense stands strong and pressures Milwaukee’s shooters and their offense hits open jump shots while Ayton performs well in the post, then the Suns can keep the score fairly close.
There is blowout potential in this game, but betting against the Suns is a difficult thing to do despite the injuries. I like Phoenix as the spread betting pick in this matchup.

Go ahead and roll with Boston at home against the Nets in this game.
- Utah Jazz -13.5
- Oklahoma City Thunder +13.5
Pick: Oklahoma City Thunder +13.5
The Thunder are far from a good basketball team. With that being said, covering this lofty spread at home is very possible for OKC. The Jazz will win this game but expect a strong effort from the Thunder.
