The Philadelphia 76ers and Chicago Bulls meet up for a Sunday NBA matchup.
The Best Bets for Sunday, February 6th
A couple of Eastern Conference rivals will go head-to-head on Sunday as the Philadelphia 76ers (31-21), and the Chicago Bulls (33-19) prepare to face off.
Both the 76ers and Bulls have been two of the most impressive teams in basketball this season.
Chicago enters Sunday’s action holding a narrow lead for first place in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls last played on Friday when they defeated the Indiana Pacers.
The 76ers have dropped two consecutive matchups heading into this contest with Chicago. Philadelphia currently places fifth in the East.
Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 P.M. EST at the United Center in Chicago, IL.

Betting Odds
The Sixers ran into a Dallas Mavericks team that is playing quality basketball on Friday. The Mavs were led by a 33/13/15 triple-double effort from Luka Doncic in the win.
Joel Embiid did everything in his power to keep Philly in the game as the superstar big man scored 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds while blocking three shots. Tyrese Maxey added 18 points and six assists in the defeat.
The 76ers were efficient from the field shooting to the tune of a 51.4 field goal percentage. But their shots failed to come in volume as they posted just 98 points compared to Dallas’s 107. The Sixers lost the rebound and turnover battle, which always dampers a team’s chances of earning a win.
But in the end, it certainly was not a terrible effort. The fifth-place Sixers have played well as of late despite dropping their past two games. They had won five contests in a row prior to the two-game losing streak and still find themselves in the thick of the Eastern Conference standings.
They will look to defeat a potentially short-handed Bulls team on Sunday.
The Bulls escaped with a narrow 122-115 victory over the Pacers on Friday. Indiana was led by a 42 point outburst from Caris LeVert.
But the Bulls emerged victorious despite playing without Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso, and Zach LaVine. Although Ball and Caruso are expected to be out for an extended period of time, LaVine is questionable for Sunday’s game.
Chicago displayed its strong array of depth in the win over Indiana.
Nikola Vucevic stepped up with an impressive 36 point and 17 rebound outing. DeMar DeRozan chipped in with 31 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. Javonte Green also scored 16 points, while Ayo Dosunmu added 15 points and 14 assists.
The plethora of assists led to a strong 30-9 assist-turnover ratio in the game. The Bulls were also able to out-rebound the Pacers.
Despite shooting just 23.1 percent from beyond the arc, they more than made up for their struggles from deep by shooting 54.4 percent from the field.
The Bulls are clinging to first place in the East, but Miami is right on their heels. They will look to increase their conference lead on Sunday with a home victory over Philadelphia.
Best Betting Odds to Bet Online
The Bulls’ injuries play into this spread. The status of LaVine could potentially turn this spread on its heels, but for now, the Sixers are the very narrow road favorites. But defeating the Bulls in Chicago has been a rarity this season as they hold the league’s third-best home record with a mark of 19-6.
On the other hand, Philadelphia does rank third in the NBA with a 17-10 record on the road.
How To Bet On: Philadelphia 76ers at Chicago Bulls NBA Betting lines
This has all the makings of a tremendous game with a couple of top-tier rivals squaring off with an incredibly narrow spread.
Picking a winner of this game will be difficult until we officially know the status of LaVine. If he is healthy enough to play, I would expect Chicago to go ahead and place him in the lineup rather than rest him. But the Bulls do play a back-to-back with a game on Monday against Phoenix, so it is possible that Chicago opts to rest him for at least one of those games.
However, they still matchup fairly well with the Sixers. Vucevic should be able to hold his own in the post against Embiid, while DeRozan is probably the most lethal scoring option on the court between both teams not named Embiid.
Taking a chance on Chicago is worth a shot for bettors. They have been one of the best teams at home this season, and they could earn you a sizable profit if they earn the victory.

NBA:
- Brooklyn Nets +6
- Denver Nuggets -6
Pick: Denver Nuggets -6
Go ahead and roll with the Nuggets to cover at home against the laboring Nets on Sunday.
- Indiana Pacers +6
- Cleveland Cavaliers -6
Pick: Cleveland Cavaliers -6
The fourth-place Cavs should have minimal issues dealing with the Pacers at home in this game, even if LeVert drops another 40 bomb.
- Milwaukee Bucks -5
- Los Angeles Clippers +5
Pick: Milwaukee Bucks -5
I expect this game to be closer than people think. The Clippers have looked solid as of late and have the home-court advantage. The Bucks should be able to ultimately win the game, but the Clippers will keep it competitive throughout.
