The Best Bets for Sunday, April 24th
The Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls prepare to battle in Game 4 of the first round of their playoff series.
This has been a difficult series to figure out.
It started out with an old-fashioned, low-scoring affair. Milwaukee took that game 93-86.
But Chicago rebounded and earned a quality 114-110 victory in Game 2. Both teams seemed to have found their offenses as well in that contest.
Milwaukee then dominated Game 3. The Bucks won a lop-sided game by a final score of 111-81. Chicago was unable to find any form of rhythm in the game en route to the massive defeat.
The Bulls need to win on Sunday, or they will be forced to head back to Milwaukee down 3-1.
Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. EST on Sunday, April 24th, at the United Center in Chicago, IL.

Betting Odds
Milwaukee Bucks
A win on Sunday does not clinch the series for Milwaukee, but it will go a long way in determining who wins this series. The Bucks would gain a major advantage if they could head home up 3-1 on Chicago without question. However, the Bulls could maintain some confidence if they could send the series back to Milwaukee tied at two games apiece.
Momentum is certainly on their side after their big victory on Friday.
Milwaukee entered Game 3 as narrow road favorites, and they handily covered the spread. The Bucks were led by an unsung hero and Chicago Bulls public enemy number one Grayson Allen in the contest. Allen scored an unprecedented 22 points, 8-12 shooting from the field to go along with five three-pointers.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis both added 18 points as well. Milwaukee’s performance was odd given that Anetokounmpo was contained rather well on offense, and the Bucks were playing without Khris Middleton. But Grayson Allen’s clutch performance went a long way in leading the Bucks.
Milwaukee also forced eight steals and caused 13 total turnovers on defense. Their defense will be more important ever moving forward with Middleton injured.
The Bucks will look for another superb outing in this Sunday afternoon affair. They need to be ready for an all-out Bulls attack since this is a must-win game for Chicago.
Chicago Bulls
Chicago needs to remove Friday’s performance from their minds and move on. It was an ugly contest, but Chicago is still very much alive in this series.
DeMar DeRozan was unable to replicate his monster Game 2 on Friday. DeRozan was limited to just 11 points, 4-9 shooting, and he did not attempt a single three-pointer. He also coughed up the ball three times.
Nikola Vucevic led the Bulls with 19 points. The big man added six rebounds as well.
But the Bulls need to re-strategize and find a way to get the ball in DeRozan and Zach LaVine’s hands on a more consistent basis. The star-studded duo combined for just 22 total shot attempts between them.
Chicago’s offense is going to continue to labor if they aren’t leading this offensive unit.
The Bulls’ defense did a fine job against the Bucks for the most part. They did not foresee Grayson Allen leading the charge and dropping 22 points, but they did a fairly good job containing Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday.
As aforementioned, Chicago will likely come out on the aggressive side to open Game 4. They need to win and can’t afford to fall too far behind early on. Expect a ton of physical defense and more shot opportunities for their stars.

BetNow: Milwaukee -4
Bovada: Milwaukee -4
Betonline: Milwaukee -4
The Bucks are once again listed as the road favorites. Oddsmakers are betting on Milwaukee’s depth to continue their strong play in Middleton’s absence.
The Bulls are going to have an opportunity to upset this spread. The odds are in their favor since they hold the home-court advantage. But their game plan needs to improve if they want to get the job done.
Game 4 should be a far more thrilling contest than Game 3’s one-sided affair.
How To Bet On: Milwaukee Bucks at Chicago Bulls NBA Betting lines
Can the Bulls bounce back from their devastating Game 3 loss?
Once again, I am anticipating an improved Bulls attack from an offensive perspective. If they find a way to score more consistently while limiting Antetokounmpo, they should fare.
However, limiting Antetokounmpo for two consecutive games is much easier said than done.
Nonetheless, I like the Bulls as the underdog pick in this one.

- Golden State Warriors -4.5
- Denver Nuggets +4.5
Pick: Golden State Warriors -4.5
Look for the Dubs to close out this series and take care of business against potential MVP Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets in Denver.
- Miami Heat -2
- Atlanta Hawks +2
Pick: Miami Heat -2
Other than Milwaukee and Chicago, this is the most intriguing game on Sunday’s postseason slate. Atlanta plays well at home, and they are going to do everything in their power to upset the narrow odds. However, I still feel confident that the Heat can cover.
