Miami Heat at Philadelphia 76ers NBA Betting Analysis, Picks
The Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers prepare to face off in Philadelphia for Game 3 of the series. Miami holds a 2-0 lead, and the 76ers need a win with their backs against the wall.
The Heat faced little resistance through the first two games. They took Game 1 by a fall score of 106-92 and Game 2 119-103. Playing without Joel Embiid has taken a toll on Philadelphia without question.
But the Sixers will have an opportunity to climb into the series in front of the home faithful on Friday night.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. EST on Friday, May 6th, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.
Let’s take a look at which team you should place your money on in Game 1 of this series.

Betting Analysis for Miami Heat at Philadelphia 76ers
Miami Heat Betting Stats & Analysis
The Heat keep on proving why they finished as the top seed in the Eastern Conference this season. Despite various injuries to stars such as Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, and Tyler Herro, they still keep finding ways to earn victories. Their depth bench is amongst the league’s best, which has been a big reason for their success.
The Heat were without Lowry in Game 1. But they exposed the Joel Embiid-less 76ers. Tyler Herro led the charge with 25 points off the bench, and Bam Adebayo added 24.
Lowry missed Game 2 as well, but the Heat still did not skip a beat.
Adebayo led Miami in scoring with 23, and he grabbed nine boards. Jimmy Butler scored 22 points to go along with 12 assists. Herro added 18 off the bench, and Victor Oladipo scored 19 off the bench.
Miami shot over 51 percent from the field and over 48 percent from beyond the arc. Their offense was on fire throughout the contest, and the defense did not deal with much trouble from Philadelphia.
Things is the Heat’s series to lose as things stand right now. If Embiid can return, the Sixers could realistically upset the odds and force a comeback. But even then, Miami still should be able to get the job done.
Philadelphia 76ers Betting Stats & Analysis
The 76ers are laboring without Joel Embiid. Their offense has been a mess, and their defense has failed to provide much of an answer for the Heat’s balanced scoring attack.
One of the most concerning problems for Philadelphia has been the performance of James Harden. Harden scored a quiet 16 points in Game 1 on 5-13 shooting. And it wasn’t as if he was handing out a ton of assists instead, as Harden tallied just five dimes in the game to go along with five turnovers.
The numbers saw a bit of an uptick in Game 2, where Harden posted 20 points on 6-15 shooting and had nine assists. Still, that is not exactly James Harden vintage production. And the 76ers desperately need him to play at the top of his game without Embiid in the lineup.
Tyrese Maxey stepped up in Game 2 and had 34 points on 12-22 shooting. He has truly emerged as a star this season, and it has carried over into the postseason.
Philadelphia shot just over 45 percent from the field in Game 2 but under 27 percent from beyond the arc. They were unable to get the amount of quality looks they wanted from the field, which ultimately led to a disappointing scoring night.
The Sixers enter Game 3 in must-win mode. Joel Embiid is listed as out but could still make a surprise return for game three prior to game time.
His status could end up being the difference not just in how this game goes but in how the remainder of the series goes. Teams have come back from being down 2-1, but going down 3-0 is practically a death sentence.

Miami Heat at Philadelphia 76ers NBA Betting Odds
The 76ers will need all hands on deck if Embiid is indeed unable to play on Friday. James Harden will need to perform better alongside Tyrese Maxey. The home-court advantage should help the Sixers make this a more competitive game after back-to-back convincing Miami wins.
But can they upset the odds in game 3?

How to Bet On: Miami Heat at Philadelphia 76ers NBA – Betting lines
I would not be the least bit shocked to see Philadelphia pull out a Game 3 victory. With that being said, I still don’t feel confident about betting against Miami.
If Embiid’s stats change, I would consider changing my bet, but even then, the Heat are still the better team.
However, Expect a closer score than the previous two games.
