Miami sits just a half-game behind first-place Chicago in the Eastern Conference standings following their recent 112-95 victory over the Spurs. The win against San Antonio snapped a three-game skid.
Charlotte has now lost three consecutive games after their 102-101 heartbreaking defeat at the hands of the Cavaliers on Friday. The Hornets will look to rebound and get back in the win column at home on Saturday.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. EST at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC.

The Heat ended their three-game losing streak by defeating the Spurs in San Antonio on Thursday.
All-star snub and potential Sixth Man of the Year Tyler Herro led the charge with 24 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two steals off the bench. Herro has been consistent in his sixth-man role all season and has been a major reason for the success of the team.
Bam Adebayo added 18 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals, while Jimmy Butler and Duncan Robinson both scored 17 points in the win.
Miami shot an impressive 50.6 percent from the field and 40 percent from deep. Robinson led the three-point attack by hitting four out of his eight attempts.
The Heat tallied 13 steals in the contest en route to 17 total San Antonio turnovers.
It was a great statement victory for the Heat as they try to reclaim first place in the East.
