Bet to Win in Week 4
Week 4 of the NFL season features several games that are expected to be tight, with plenty of evenly-matched opponents on the Sunday slate. Included in those games are matchups where underdogs have a genuine chance to come out on top.
When making NFL picks for this week, bettors should give some serious thought to betting on these three teams, in particular, to come out on top as underdogs.

Falcons +105 vs. Football Team
The Atlanta Falcons haven’t exactly been synonymous with NFL betting in recent seasons and have struggled with a 1-2 start to this season.
But they are a live dog this week against the Washington Football Team. Coming off of a win against another NFC East team in the New York Giants, the Falcons have some upside playing at home with a passing game that could give a struggling Washington defense trouble.
This season, Washington has averaged just two sacks per game, almost a full sack per game less than the 2.9 they averaged a year ago. After losing Ryan Kerrigan during the offseason, teams have been better able to block against Chase Young upfront. And that ability to better protect the passer has allowed teams to carve up a Washington secondary that has been suspect at best through three weeks.
Atlanta looked awful in NFL Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles but have been more respectable since then. They put up points in a losing effort against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before picking up a road win against the Giants last week.
If Atlanta continues on their upward trajectory in this game, they should cruise against a Washington Team that hasn’t stopped anyone.
Broncos -105 vs. Ravens
The Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens both have winning records to start this season, with the Broncos racking up three straight wins to kick off the campaign. The two teams will meet in Denver in one of the top games of Week 4. And in that game, the Broncos could very well use home-field advantage to their benefit to beat a Ravens team that hasn’t been consistently strong in 2021.
According to BetUS, the Ravens are a one-point favorite after opening as an underdog against the Broncos. But the Ravens are playing their second straight road game and needed an unprecedented 66-yard field goal to beat the Detroit Lions on the road last week. This week, the Broncos should be able to take advantage of a road-weary Broncos team and move to 4-0 on the season.
Lions +130 @ Bears
Last week, the Chicago Bears gave rookie quarterback Justin Fields his first career start in the place of the injured Andy Dalton. That decision went spectacularly poorly, as the Bears mustered just six points against the Cleveland Browns in a 20-point loss. This week, there is uncertainty surrounding the starting quarterback of the Bears once again, and the Lions appear poised to take advantage of it.
This week’s NFL odds have the Bears as a slight favorite against the Lions, but the Lions have been a much better team through the first three weeks of the season. Jared Goff has been a perfectly decent quarterbacking option for Detroit, who has played competitive football against Baltimore and San Francisco already this season. As a slight underdog, the Lions are a decent value to beat a Chicago team that looks completely lost offensively.
This could also be the final game that Matt Nagy coaches for the Chicago Bears. Nagy is on the hot seat after failing to get the Bears’ offense going with Dalton, Fields, Nick Foles, or Mitch Trubisky over the last couple of years. The writing being on the wall could bring out a poor performance from Chicago and seal Nagy’s fate.
