Both Kansas City and Philadelphia enjoyed impressive seasons en route to their Super Bowl berth.
The Chiefs pulled out a narrow win over the Bengals in the AFC Championship Game. Kansas City has played a number of competitive contests, and that narrative will likely stay the same during Super Bowl weekend.
Meanwhile, Philadelphia has steamrolled through the competition. They have earned wins over the Giants and 49ers in convincing fashion so far during the NFL playoffs. With that being said, this Kansas City team is going to give them all they can handle.
The game also projects to have a number of big performances from key players. This can make prop bets worthwhile. Without further ado, here’s a look at the top offensive prop bets for the Super Bowl.
We will take a look at a number of different player props to go along with one scoring team prop for both the Chiefs and the Eagles.
TOP #3 Sports Betting Sites to Bet on NFL
Chiefs Prop Bets
Chiefs Touchdown Total: O/U 2.5
Taking the over on Kansas City’s touchdown total is risky, given Philadelphia’s defense. Their total, which can differ according to varying sportsbooks, is set at 2.5. Still, the Chiefs’ loaded offense should be able to surpass that mark.
The Chiefs led the league in points per game, first in total yards per game, and passing yards per game. Their scoring average of over 29 points per contest bodes well for their chances of scoring at least three touchdowns.
The Chiefs are going to have plenty of red zone opportunities. The real question comes down to whether or not they can cash in on six points or settle for field goals, but we can go ahead and trust Patrick Mahomes to get the job done.
Patrick Mahomes Parlay: 300+ Passing Yards and 2+ Passing Touchdowns
Patrick Mahomes played a great game versus Cincinnati despite dealing with an injury. Mahomes ultimately finished the game with 326 passing yards and two touchdowns. And again, that was while dealing with a high ankle sprain.
Mahomes will now have a week of rest before gearing up for the big game, and a rested Mahomes spells trouble for the Eagles even with their impressive defensive unit.
We can expect him to tack up passing yards. The touchdown total is a bit more questionable, but riding with the over on Kansas City’s 2.5 TD total bodes well for Mahomes’ chances of throwing three TDs.
Travis Kelce: 70+ Receiving Yards and 1+ Touchdowns
Travis Kelce is Patrick Mahomes’ preferred target. He’s no stranger to tallying up massive numbers in playoff games.
Kelce reeled in seven receptions for 78 receiving yards to go along with one touchdown last week. If Mahomes plays as well as we think he will, Kelce will certainly benefit as a result. Even if the Eagles are able to “contain” the Chiefs’ superstar tight end, he should still be able to cash in on this parlay.
Kelce’s performance will go a long way in determining how well Kansas City fares versus the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
Eagles Prop Bets
Eagles Touchdown Total: O/U 2.5
In a similar fashion to the Chiefs, taking the over on the Eagles’ 2.5 touchdown total is the best bet.
Philadelphia ranked third in points per game, third in total yards per game, ninth in passing yards per game, and fifth in rushing yards per game.
Jalen Hurts leads an extremely potent offense that should be able to take care of business against the Chiefs. Kansas City’s defense is far from an elite unit. They were 16th in points against per contest and 11th in total yards against per game.
The Eagles should be able to find the endzone on a fairly consistent basis in this game.
Jalen Hurts Parlay: 275+ Passing Yards and 1+ Passing Touchdowns
Jalen Hurts has also been dealing with an injury, but he has impressed when on the field this season. And given the Chiefs’ defensive concerns, we can bet on Hurts playing well in the Super Bowl.
It should be noted that Hurts didn’t post big numbers against San Francisco. However, the Eagles will need him to have a great performance in order to keep pace with the 49ers and their talented offense.
Miles Sanders Parlay: 70+ Rushing Yards and 1+ Touchdown
This is an easy prop to take the over on. Miles Sanders and Kenneth Gainwell split carries last week, but it was Sanders who scored a pair of touchdowns.
The Eagles’ rushing attack will play a massive role in determining the outcome of this contest. Sanders is going to find the endzone, but it really comes down to whether or not he can reach the 70-yard rushing threshold.
All it takes is one 20-30 yard run and a number of other decent gains to get the job done.
Take a chance on this Miles Sanders parlay.
Super Bowl Weekend Top Offense Prop Bets
The Eagles and Chiefs are going to play a competitive Super Bowl. These prop bets obviously present a certain degree of risk, but in the end, they all have the potential to hit, which would lead to an eye-watering payout in the end.
The Eagles’ prop bets are a bit riskier than the Chiefs, but, again, we expect this game to be competitive, which means a lot of scoring for both sides. And players such as Jalen Hurts and Miles Sanders will need to step up.
Prop bets are worth the risk as they can often lead to greater payouts than other forms of bets. Go ahead and take a chance on these parlays and props.
