Let’s look at which squads have the best odds of winning the title. Keep reading on: Updated Betting Odds to win NBA Finals 2022.
TOP #3 Sports Betting Sites to Bet On the NBA Finals
Brooklyn Nets (+210)
Of course, it will be Brooklyn versus everybody next season. Folks want to see James Harden win a ring, and that’s great. But when you have a super team and a trio of All-NBA guys, it will make them the squad with a big target on their back. When they lost to Milwaukee, a lot of watchers were probably not too upset.
The Bucks went on to win the title, so it was probably personal for Brooklyn to see that. They have added a few different guys. Jeff Green left for Denver, but they now have James Johnson and Patty Mills, two players who are effective on both ends of the floor. And all Mills has done during his time with the Spurs is win. These are quality signings.
There is a chance of a LaMarcus Aldridge NBA return, and should that happen, perhaps Brooklyn will come calling. Good luck to the NBA if the Nets are healthy.
Los Angeles Lakers (+450)
Before all the new acquisitions, the Lakers were still probably one of the favorites to win the title. But now, considering the moves they have made, it is no surprise to see them officially slotting in with the #2 online betting odds to claim next season’s Larry O’Brien trophy. This is a team always trying to win, and next year could be it for them.
They brought in LeBron’s buddy Carmelo Anthony, who still has so much left in the tank. They brought in shooters like Wayne Ellington and Malik Monk, veterans like Dwight Howard and Trevor Ariza. Kendrick Nunn and Trevor Ariza are the wildcard signings, along with Kent Bazemore. The impact they have is going to vary every night.
But of course, it’s all about Russell Westbrook. They got him from the Wizards, and he’s their third star now. Russ has advanced in the playoffs just once since KD bolted for Golden State, and so things have been a bit tough. Now that he’s with two sensational players besides himself, things could turn around rather fast.
Milwaukee Bucks (+800)
Give it up for the champs! What a season the Bucks had, and it resulted in their first championship since 1971. They have lost a key piece but also brought in a few new players on the cheap with the same amount of money they had there. They will pretty much run it back, though PJ Tucker’s departure will be felt.
Tucker’s ability to guard the best player in every round played a major role in the team’s title. But, they brought back George Hill, who they previously had for a few years. Rodney Hood signed a one-year deal and is tremendous injury insurance for Donte DiVincenzo. And then Semi Ojeleye can spread the floor and also defend top-tier perimeter guys.
Bobby Portis coming back for this year is a major get-back, as he brings so much value to the team. His shooting and effort on the rebounds were invaluable to the team in the later rounds. In the game 6 closeout of the Suns, he played a dominant game.
At the end of the day, winning next year will be much harder. But, Giannis, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday will be back. If they can beat Brooklyn, they can do it.
