This is a very impressive team that undoubtedly has the capability to help LeBron move to 5-0 as a captain.
But team Durant has talent as well.
Their starters line up like this: Joel Embiid, Ja Morant, Jayson Tatum, Trae Young, and Andrew Wiggins.
Obviously, being without Durant because of his injury hurts this lineup. But Embiid is the X-Factor.
Embiid is arguably the MVP favorite right now as the big man has led the 76ers all season long, and the team currently finds themselves right in the middle of the postseason discussion. Embiid’s numbers have been incredible, and he has developed an ability to make plays for teammates, which compliments his overall skill set.
Morant is one of the most dynamic young players in all of basketball, while Young is a flashy point guard with an elite long-range shooting ability. Tatum is a pure scorer who offers versatile shooting ability.
Wiggins is the Wild Card, as he was voted into the starting lineup mainly due to Golden State’s passionate fan base. But Wiggins is certainly having a solid season. He is posting the best three-point percentage of his career and is enjoying an overall impressive campaign.
However, this leaves Devin Booker as the leader of the bench unit. Booker could have easily been a starter, but he will be a terrific Sixth Man option in this contest. He is the leading scorer for the Suns, who own the NBA’s best record this year.
The bench also features players such as Karl-Anthony Towns and LaMelo Ball. Towns is a versatile big man who can score underneath the basket and grab rebounds but is also fresh off of his three-point contest victory on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Ball’s flashy ball-handling and passing ability is worth the price of admission on its own, and the young guard also can score the Ball in a number of different ways.
Team Durant will do everything in their power to pull off the upset in this affair.
