Raise your hand if you bet against Tom Brady after he left his comfort zone of New England

Now raise your other hand if you are going to make that same mistake once again this season.

With the whole band back together, Tom Terrific and the Buccaneers look poised to go back-to-back and give the Goat ring No. 8.

But oddsmakers in Vegas don’t have Tampa Bay as their top pick. That spot belongs to the team Brady and the Bucs embarrassed last season, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mybookie.ag — one of the top Sportsbooks at Online Betting Sports — has Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs a slight favorite over the Bucs at +500 Betting odds to claim the Lombardi. Tampa Bay comes in with the second shortest Super Bowl odds at +500.

With the two quarterbacks to go along with all of the talent, up and down the rosters, there’s a reason why these two juggernauts are the odds on favorites. And it would be hard to bet against either one.

Serious Contenders

Rising star and MVP candidate Josh Allen has Buffalo in serious Super Bowl talks, as well, as the Bills have the third-best odds at +1100, while the return of Aaron Rodgers has the Packers sitting at +1200 to return the Lombardi back home.

Next tier

With Matthew Stafford leading the offense in Los Angeles, the Rams are +1200 to win the championship. Cleveland and San Francisco both enter the season with +1400 Betting Odds, while Baltimore has +1600.

Oddsmakers are betting on Bill Belichick to work his magic and have New England at +2000.

Best Value

If you are looking for good value, Seattle and Indianapolis may be two of your best bets here. After all of the offseason drama surrounding Russell Wilson, the Seahawks come in at +2200 while the Colts provide good value at +2500.

Of course, just how far the Colts go could depend on the health of new signal-caller Carson Wentz. On just the second day of practice during training camp, Wentz left with an ankle injury. Early reports have the QB set to miss anywhere from 5-12 weeks. With all of the weapons Indianapolis possesses on both sides of the ball, a healthy Wentz could put the Colts over the top.

Wild Cards

Many bettors are already rushing to the sportsbooks to place money down on Dak Prescott for Comeback Player of the Year. The injured Cowboys QB has the shortest odds of winning the award at +175. With Prescott set to return under center in Dallas, the Cowboys’ odds of returning to Super Bowl glory are at +2400.

A trade for Teddy Bridgewater has Denver a surprise pick with odds at +2500.

Another up-and-coming team to keep an eye on is Miami. With Tua Tagovailoa in his second year in Miami and some pieces around him, the Dolphins could be close to taking that next step. The ‘fins enter the season +3000.

Best of the rest

Is this finally the season Kirk Cousins puts it all together for the Vikings? There are some in Vegas that seem to think so. The Vikings enter with odds of +2800. With playmakers like Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson, and Adam Thielen, there’s no reason why Cousins can’t live up to his contract. But will it be enough to overtake Rodgers and the Packers in the North?

Despite the retirement of Drew Brees and the injury of Michael Thomas to start the season, New Orleans still has respectable Sports Betting odds at +3000.

Second-year quarterback Justin Herbert has the Los Angeles Chargers at +3300 money.

Long shot

Matt Nagy is sticking to his guns that the Red Rifle, Andy Dalton, is Chicago’s starter, but for how long? If Justin Fields continues to impress, Dalton is sure to have a short leash with the Bears.

With a defense playing with a chip on its shoulders, the Bears may be a solid QB play away from dethroning Green Bay and making noise in the NFC.

Fields could be just the spark the team needs to make a push towards the top around the middle of the season.

Odds: Chicago +4500
